Super Bowl LV: CBS rebranding reaches its Paramount peak…

Make it snow, Number One - Patrick Stewart helps CBS All Access transition to their new branding...

Over the last few weeks, several promotional videos have been highlighting the fact that the streaming service known as CBS All Access will be changing its name to Paramount + in March. You can see the collection of promos here)

The idea shows various personalities / characters who will be appearing on the platform all ascending the famous mountain that Paramount properties have had as their logo.  So you have animated characters like Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob Squarepants climbing alongside James Corden and Young Sheldon‘s Iain Armitage and various key Star Trek crew members (Anson Mount as Captain Pike, Ethan Peck as Spock Sonequa Martin-Green as Michael Burnham) next to Lucille Ball and Tom Selleck.

In the final part of the promotion, to officially be launched as a Super Bowl LV commercial, Patrick Stewart  (Trek‘s Jean-Luc Picard) welcomes them to the summit with Stephen Colbert.  Of course, the fact that the streaming service temporarily crashed during the event… might not be quite the best advertisement.

Get your sneak peek (peak?) below…
