Loki, High Concept: Everything, everywhere, all at Once Upon a Time… …

After watching the first episode of Loki‘s second season on Disney+, I was priming myself to write at length about the time-twisting escapades, the choices of editing and the fact that almost anything and everything could happen next.

But it’s an experience that’s easier to watch than review (especially in isolation to the whole series arc) so I think I’m just going to say that watching an episode that feels like a Terry Gilliam love-letter to The Fifth Element, that it’s wonderful to see Ke Huy Quan stealing every scene he’s in (even from the mighty Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson) and though I have no idea what the hell’s going on, I’m along for the ride.
