Wakanda Forever! Marvel reveal trailers and future plans…

Marvel lays out its plans for return to theatrical releases... and says 'See you at the movies..."

Though COVID has caused considerable problems with the scheduling of all their projects, it looks like ‘Phase 4‘ of Marvel Studios‘ plans are about to kick into high gear. This morning the studio released a promo that looked back over past successes and reaffirmed their commitment to already-announced, full-on theatrical releases (once COVID is over) and gave more, fresh details about their films…

The studio announced that the Black Panther sequel, due 8th July 2022, will be called Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, though there are scant details with how the story will resolve the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Director Ryan Coogler has already said that they will not be recasting the role of T’Challa.

The promo includes footage from upcoming releases such as Black Widow (9th July),  Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings (3rd September). Though there was no footage, the promo reconfirmed the title logos and release dates for Spider-Man: No Way Home (17th December 2021), Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness (25th March 2022), and Thor: Love and Thunder (6th May 2022).

Captain Marvel 2 is set for release on 11th November 2022  and will now be known as The MarvelsAntman and the Wasp: Quantumania is now heading to release on 17th November 2023.

Guardians and the Galaxy: Vol. 3 , directed by James Gunn, is now slated to open summer on May 5, 2023.

The Fantastic Four logo also makes a sneak appearance at the end…
