Final ‘Dark Fate’ trailer ready to terminate…

Our fate is what we make it - but what will we make of 'Terminator: Dark Fate'? The final trailer has now arrived...

The release of Terminator: Dark Fate, the latest entry in the time-twisting action franchise is due in October and it’s a film that could arguably realign the narrative once and for all or sink it – given the decidedly mixed reaction to more recent entries. The focus this time is much more on Sarah Connor, with Linda Hamilton reprising her famous role as waitress-turned-humanity’s-saviour and now living with the knowledge that she may have stopped the ‘Judgement Day’ (the day when the Skynet computer became self-aware and launched  a devastating attack) which originally happened in 1997, but perhaps not prevented it entirely.

No Terminator film appears to work without Arnold Schwarzenegger’s presence and he’s also back, though newcomers  Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta all play prominent parts.

This final trailer allows some context and puts flesh on the bone/meal of the story with Mackenzie Davis appearing not to be a new model of Terminator but actually an enhanced human who will help Connor defend her present and future – but Luna’s new model could prove quite the challenge…

Terminator: Dark Fate – directed by Deadpool’s Tim Miller and produced by James Cameron – arrives 23rd October…
